The Heathrow 13 was a performance project inspired by 13 activists who occupied a runway at Heathrow airport in July 2015.
Combining verbatim material with participatory staging, The Heathrow 13 pits the activists' commitment to highlighting the climate impact of aviation against the air travel industry's ongoing insistence that a new runway is needed in the South East of England.
I developed The Heathrow 13 whilst on an MA at Central School of Speech and Drama. It was performed at the Cambridge Junction and the Hive Dalston.
